Welcome to Faye Carter Sports & Remedial Massage. I provide professional sports massage in Hextable, Kent & the surrounding areas. Pain & injury can cause us to change in the way we move, the body adapts to change & this can result in more pain or further injury. I enjoy working with my clients & identifying areas of the body that could be contributing to their pain. With a friendly, caring, knowledgeable approach I will develop a treatment specific to suit your needs, giving you the time & support to improve your overall health & well-being.

I have always had an interest in sport. From a young age I skied, training & competing regularly and my love of the mountains & the outdoors has continued throughout life. I ski, snowboard, mountain bike & walk as often as I can. In more recent years I have played competitive hockey & enjoyed every minute of being part of a team.
My interest in sport led me to complete a BSc in Applied Sports Science & having personally experienced the benefits of massage I decided to train as a Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist. In 2016 I trained at the highly regarded North London School of Sports Massage (NLSSM) where I achieved a Level 5 BTEC Diploma in Sports & Remedial Massage Therapy. Throughout my time at NLSSM I developed an in-depth knowledge of anatomy & physiology along with an extensive variety of massage skills & techniques which enables me to combine postural analysis & home care exercises providing specific treatment to each individual.
Along with treating individual clients at my clinic, I provide home visits to clients & have been involved with Sports Clubs & events.
In the 2016/17 season I worked with Sevenoaks Hockey Club Men’s 1st Team providing pre-game sports massage, injury assessment, first aid & advice. The team successfully won the England Hockey East Conference League & have gone on to secure promotion into the England Hockey Premier League for the forthcoming season. I also supported the team at the England Hockey Indoor Premiership 2016/17 where the team secured a place in the finals at Wembley.
I have provided post event massages at large scale events including Action Challenge London to Brighton 2016, Prudential Ride London 2016 & Sevenoaks Hockey Club Vets Festival 2017 (Pre, Post & Inter event massages).
I regularly participate in continuing professional development (CPD) courses to keep my knowledge current & learn new skills enabling me to give my clients the best possible treatment. Most recently I have completed sports taping & strapping, kinesiology taping & lymphatic massage & taping courses.
I am a full member of The Sports Massage Association & Insured through Balens Insurance.
